Diwali Special Kheer Recipe

Ingredients

Rice – 1 cup Basmati
Sugar – 250 grams Chopped
Almonds – 30 grams
Unsalted Pistachios – 30 grams Chopped
Saffron – 10 threads
Full cream Milk – 2 liters
Ground green cardamom – 2 teaspoons Chopped
cashews – 30 grams
Raisins – 30 grams

How to make Kheer

Step – Boil the milk after soaking the rice

Wash and soak the rice for 15-20 minutes. Make sure the type of rice you are using. Boil the milk and put a tablespoon of boiled milk in a bowl. After heating, put a few strands of saffron in a spoonful of milk.

Step – 2 Cook Rice for Kheer

When the milk comes to a boil, drain all the water from the rice and put it in the milk. Cook the rice on low flame till it is half cooked, then add sugar as required and keep cooking. Cook till the rice is almost cooked. The flame should be kept low and it should be kept on stirring.

Step – 3 Boil the kheer till it becomes thick and add dry fruits

Add half a teaspoon of cardamom powder, chopped cashews, chopped pistachios and saffron milk to the rice. Mix and keep cooking. When the rice grains are cooked and the kheer becomes thick, scrape off the solid part of the milk and put it in the kheer.

Step – 4 Add raisins to rice kheer

Garnish with a tablespoon of raisins over the kheer and serve hot or cold and enjoy.
