Previously I had tasted only Amla Murabba from Delhi and Ganganagar. I was not aware that murabbas could be made from Bel. First time I had bought it out of curiosity. It had got a very particular smell and taste. It can be stored in the fridge also after opening. I may buy this in future also and given it to some of the visitors.

Bel, and not sugar, is definitely the hero. Very little sugar syrup. Almost dry. So it doesn’t drip all over the place and create a mess. Taste is great. And the pieces are just the right size. Did find a few hard seeds, but that’s okay.
